Major: Music Artistic Education prepares conductors of music and choir ensembles, music teachers and promoters of music culture.

MA studies, Specialty: Choir Conducting last 4 semesters. Graduates obtain a title of MA in Arts (magister sztuki), they are prepared to work as conductors of choir and vocal-and-instrumental ensembles and are qualified to perform the widely understood music culture-promoting activity.

Admission rules

The enrolment procedure is competitive and its results are public.


  • choir conducting – sending audio-video recordings
  • voice production – oral test online (using the ZOOM app)
  • piano – sending audio-video recordings

Scope of material

  • choir conducting performing a conducting presentation (duration 5-7 minutes):
    • for graduates of the specialty called Conducting Music Ensembles – fragment of BA diploma or concert (candidate’s choice),
    • for graduates from other specialties – presentation of manual technique to music with any soundtrack,
  • voice production performing a vocal piece from classical music repertoire with piano accompaniment or pre-recorded background music (also music available online). It is also acceptable that a candidate performs a capella
  • piano: 
    • study or polyphonic piece,
    • sonata allegro (sonata or concerto movement) or free piece.
